Frequently Asked Questions
How does a virtual escape room work?
The benefit of a virtual escape room is that you can do it from the comfort of your own home, and at your own pace. Once you visit our shop and purchase one of our games you will be sent a document with a set of instructions on. This will include a link to start the game. We'll also provide you with a hints and tips guide to help you if you get stuck.
How many people can play?
This one is up to you. You're welcome to use FaceTime, Messenger, Whatsapp, Zoom, Skype or any other video calling method to work with your team members in a different location. We recommend you only have a maximum of 6 people playing at once. You can only share the game link with those that will be playing you at the time.
Is there an age limit?
We've designed the game for adults, but we haven't put a lower age limit on any of our games. All content is appropriate for young adults, it's just that some puzzles may be quite tricky! We certainly don't have any upper age limit, so feel free to get anyone involved!
What do I do if I have a problem?
We know how frustrating it can be when you just want to play your escape room. If you unfortunately get a problem, then we want to fix it as soon as possible. If it's about your purchase of the game then drop us an email on email@example.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. If it's about the gameplay then the hints and tips guide will be the first place to start. Failing that, drop us a message over on our Facebook page as we're always keen to help!
What do the games look like?
Unlike other Virtual Escape Rooms, we custom build the game into a bespoke website. We only want you to have the best, so we've decided not to use generic sites such as Google Forms.
What will I need to play?
We've made our games as easy as possible to play. You'll need access to a computer or laptop, unfortunately our games don't work so well on a mobile device. You'll also need a pen and paper. But that's it! No printer. No waiting for resources to arrive in the post.
